Dr. Soriano specializes in psychological testing and providing therapy to individuals and families who are adjusting to significant life changes such as depression, anxiety, substance use, and grief. He operates from a psychodynamic/generalist perspective and utilizes a wide range of techniques individually tailored to each client.

He has multiple certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a type of treatment dedicated to helping individuals resolve trauma or painful memories. He is also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which is a type of therapy designed to teach people how to live in the moment, cope with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others.

His primary focus is not about “fixing” or “curing.” Instead, he feels his job as a psychologist centers on creating a trusting partnership with his patients and working towards a better way of understanding themselves and finding the best version of themselves.
